WHAT IS THE GV CLUB

The GV Club is a Member Reward program available to all Grand View Hotel patrons. Your membership card allows you access to a range of rewards. We give you points for using your membership card when purchasing food or beverages from the Hotel and you can earn points when you play the pokies.

HOW DOES IT WORK

The GV Club card is a Smartcard that has a silicon chip embedded in the card. This chip holds all your points, which you can convert to GV smart cash and spend at any of the GV food and beverage outlets. You can also put physical cash onto the card to spend.

The Vegas loyalty part is the magnetic strip. This is where all your Vegas points are stored. You can view them at any time yourself by pressing the Enter Button next to the Display Window. When you choose the prize you want to redeem, it is converted to GV smart cash to spend at the Bar, the Restaurant or the Bottleshop.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY CARD

Advise the Hotel immediately and it will be Hotlisted. In most circumstances there will be a $5 replacement fee for a new card. All your current balances will be transferred to this card.

HOW DO I GET POINTS

Every time you make a food or beverage purchase be sure to use to your card so that you get points. The points will be automatically added to your card, based on the amount of money spent.

For every $1 spent in the Hotel you will receive 1 point ie. $1.00 = 1 point

You earn Vegas points every time you push a button. Save them up and then redeem for whichever prize you like.

HOW DO I USE THE GV POINTS

The staff at the GV redemption centre can convert your points to GV smart cash. Depending on the amount of points you have, you nominate the amount of points you wish to convert to GV smart cash.

For every point you have on your card you will receive one cent. For example, if you have 300 points on your card it is worth $3 GV smart cash.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE

The Grand View Hotel is committed to providing Responsible Service of Alcohol. Management and Staff will abide by the guidelines of the Responsible Service of Alcohol if any patron shows sign of intoxication.

LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP

There are three levels of membership each with certain privileges. They are assessed monthly. People can move throughout the levels depending on expenditure levels. So make sure you use your G.V card whenever you make a purchase of any kind. E.g.: Restaurant, Bar and Bottleshop.

You earn Vegas points every time you push a button. We always have point promotions running, so check out the times when you can earn bonus points. Save them up and then redeem for whichever prize you like on the Vegas Prize List.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF GAMBLING

Management and staff of the Grand View Hotel support the responsible service of gambling.

Gambling products are offered at the venue in accordance with the relevant legislation related to that product.

1. Provision of Information

  • The hotel has available a range of information, upon request, to assist patrons with their decision to gamble, which includes:
    - Player Information Guide;
    - Responsible Gambling Mission Statement;
    - Signage on the potential harm of gambling; and
    - Gambling Help Services to assist those affected by gambling.
2. Exclusion Provisions
  • The venue will offer exclusion provisions as one of a range of proactive measures to assist those with gambling problems.
  • Please ask a staff member for the Customer Liaison Manager.
3. Physical Environment
  • Minors are not permitted to gamble nor be in a designated gambling area, and the only acceptable forms of identification to ascertain age are:
    1. State or Territory photo driver?s licence (Australian);
    2. Government issued proof of age card ? for example, 18+ card;
    3. Photo passport (original and valid)
  • Patrons who are unduly intoxicated will be refused service of alcohol, will not be permitted to gamble and may be asked to leave the premises.
  • Players? privacy and confidentiality will be a top priority all of the time.
  • The ?chocking? or continual depressing of buttons by insertion of a coaster, plastic peg or similar is not allowed at this hotel.
4. Financial Transaction
  • Credit betting is illegal.
  • No credit is available to anyone, at any time, under any circumstance.
  • The ATMs within this venue have access only to debit accounts.
